I’ve always offered wedding albums to my couples. I learned photography back in the days of film and the darkroom, and while I’ve embraced digital technology, there is no substitute in my mind for viewing a good photographic print.
Over the years I’ve refined my designs and settled on a style that is fairly classic, minimal and, I think, elegant. In a nutshell, I want the design to show off the photographs at their best, not draw attention to itself. I’ve used several album manufacturers over the years and have links to most of the major companies. I currently offer Folio, Jorgensen and Queensberry albums, but have also designed Graphistudio, Loxley and Sim2000 books. There are subtle differences between the different kinds of album style (classic matted, Fine Art, digital and coffee table). I’d be happy to go through them with you if you’re not sure which style would suit you best.
